We employ several different diagnostic tools to build a profile of your waterbody and write a management care plan.
Lake and Pond diagnostics are the first step for many of our projects. They include onsite analytics and diagnostic testing done off site in the laboratory.
Aeration and Maintenance are the two most basic ways to maintain a healthy waterbody, but must be implemented for the unique context of each one.
Each waterbody requires an annual long-term management plan in order to maintain the usability and health of a waterbody.

Aquatic and terrestrial invasive plants growing in or near a waterbody can have lasting and harmful impacts to its usability, health, and longevity.

An integrated plant management plan is crucial in order to identify, remove, and prevent re-introduction of invasive species in your waterbody.

While there are several techniques employed by scientists to perform a plant or animal survey within a waterbody, we specialize in a combination SCUBA diver and surface support method to complete surveys.

Utilizing dive video technology as well as search grid patterning, our surveys provide both customized maps of biomass locations and totals.

Ondine Freshwater Consultants provides assistance with lake shore encroachment, wetland, or stream alteration permitting within the state of Vermont.

We also provide consultation services for Lake Associations, homeowner associations, and other groups who are contemplating different methods for Invasive Plant removal or seeking Lake Management guidence.
